Last week, little Bean and I watched Cinderella... and Cinderella II! She absolutely adored them. She's been running around singing "Cindy-relly, Cindey-relly!" ever since.
So last night, I thought I'd keep the princess thing going because, honestly, I'm almost ready to pull out my hair if I have to watch the same Blue's Clues or Care Bears DVDS again for a month. So I put on Snow White, forgetting how absolutely terrifying it is for children. Oops! So now JK's probably scarred forever. Le sigh.
But, to save other children the same torment in the future, I compiled a list of practically fool-proof, non-threatening movies for sensitive little ones. But, for real, it isn't really fool-proof! I remember being pretty scared of Heffalumps when I was a kid. You never know every little thing that may frighten your child, but you know them better than anyone else. Watch the movies with them. If they get scared, start acting squeamish, or say they don't like it, turn it off or just skip the parts they can't handle.
So, go pop some popcorn and enjoy!

JK seems to really like princesses. So far we've watched all the ones with an * next to them. The ones at the bottom of the list came recommended, but she just wasn't into them. We'll try again with those in a few years.
* Cinderella
* Beverly Hills Chihuahua
Did you and your little ones enjoy these movies? Have any to add to the list? Comment below!!

* Cinderella
* Beverly Hills Chihuahua
* Princess
Sofia The First
* Princess
Enchanted Tales
* Tinkerbell
* Ariel's Beginning
* Mary Poppins
* Tangled
* Disney's A Christmas Carol -- note: this one is really short and Jane loved it, though there is one very frightening part when Scrooge sees his future and he falls into his grave and there is fire all around, JK didn't seem to mind at all, but older and/or more sensitive children should beware.
