First of, I wanted to tell you a little about myself and my fitness goals
I am 5'5, weigh 165, and am looking to lose 20 lb in 2026 to reach my goal weight of 145 with 25% body fat. I want to lose 1 pound per week of fat with as little muscle loss as possible.
Currently, I am waking up at 6am (sometimes 6:30) and I have about 20 minutes to do yoga, stretch &/or walk before getting ready for work. I want to start going to bed at 10pm so I'm not so tired.
I get around 4,000-5000 steps at work. My goal for 2026 is to have an average of at least 7-8k steps, to start off with. I also go to the gym 2-4 times per week. I do a "bro split:" push/pull/legs Mon, Wed, Fri or if I have to miss a day upper/lower. Saturday I do a long walk and we play in the pool. I try to do easy yoga at least 2 days a week
My calorie goals are about 1500 per day, high protein. I eat 2 meals and one snack per day. I drink collagen or protein shake in the morning.
Goal: Lose 20 lb in ~20 weeks and keep it off
Rate: 1 lb/week (healthy + sustainable)
Daily calories: ~1500, high protein
Movement: at least 7–8k steps/day average
Lifestyle: Wake 6am, bed 10pm, 2 meals + 1 snack, collagen/protein in the morning while fasting
Daily Routine:
6am-6:30am - Morning Movement
M/W/F: Light, easy yoga
T/R: 20 minute easy walk
Lunch Break: 5-10 minutes of walking
After Dinner: 10-30 minute walk with family
