Woohoo Fitness Goals!

Hello! 

First off, I want to tell you a little about myself and my fitness goals because I know you may be in the same boat as me.

Current (Starting) Stats:

5'5

165 lb

Goal: 145 & less than 30% body fat.

Drop one half pound of fat per week with as little muscle loss as possible.

Currently waking up at 6am (sometimes 6:30) and I have about 20 minutes to do yoga, stretch &/or walk before getting ready for work.  I want to start going to bed at 10pm so I'm not so tired. 

I get around 4-5,000 steps at work each day. My goal is to have an average of at least 7-8k steps, to start off with. Later I want to get to 10k average per day. 

I also go to the gym 2-4 times per week. I do a classic "bro split:" push/pull/legs Mon, Wed, Fri or if I have to miss a day one upper and one lower body day. 

Saturday I do a long walk and then we play at the pool. I also try to do easy yoga at least 2 days a week 

Calorie goal is about 1500 per day, focusing on high protein and at least 5 servings of fruits and veggies daily.

I drink collagen in my coffee or a protein shake in the morning.

2 meals and one snack per day.


Goal: 

Lose 20 lb of fat in ~40 weeks (by the end of the year) and keep it off

Rate: .5 lb/week (healthy + sustainable)

Daily calories: ~1500, high protein

Movement: at least 7–8k steps/day average

Lifestyle: Wake 6am, bed 10pm, 2 meals + 1 snack, collagen/protein in the morning while fasting


Daily Routine

6am-6:30am - Morning Movement

M/W/F morning: Light, easy yoga

T/R morning: 20 minute easy walk 

Lunch Break: 5-10 minutes of walking

After Dinner: 10-30 minute walk with family

M/W/F evening: Lift at the gym:

Mon - chest, shoulders and triceps

Wed - back & biceps

Fri - legs & core
